What an honor it was to have my next guest on the podcast, Chris Taylor Brown. Some of you may know Chris as the lead singer and founding member of the band Trapt. Chris shares with us how the band came to be and the journey the last 20 years has been. As many of us already know, the mainstream media tends to paint a negative picture on those that go against the narrative that "they" push. Chris shares some of the hardships he had to endure and overcome after expressing his beliefs-- which do not align with the music industry, nor the mainstream media-- on social media. It is through these trials and tribulations, Chris expresses, that he was able to build and maintain a strong nuclear family and close friends; create new avenues, such TikTok, for connecting with his fans and spreading their self produced album; and ultimately growing from the experiences as a whole. We also discuss the lack of masculine men in society and the greater, negative impact in which that has on society on many different levels. We also dive into why it's important to stay true to who you are and embrace your masculinity, You're not going to want to miss this chat.
