Before the days of allopathic medicine, healers would depend on nature for their necessary remedies. If you sit down with trackers, hunters, bushmen, or any people who still use the land as a means of survival, they will tell you that supplement healing is abundant, and all around us. The communication is always there. The answers to our questions are always there; it's just a matter of whether or not we're present enough to sense it.
I'm honored to have had our next guest, Tippecanoe Herbs. He is an herbalist that forages, plants, and produces all of his and his wife's products directly at their store. He shares with us his journey, away from the music industry, and towards a life persistently in nature. We dive into the physical characteristics of certain plants, and how they correlate to specific physical characteristics of the living body (i.e. Mullein and the spine). We explore how movement can facilitate these plant remedies, and vice versa, how one can start the 500ft rule (identify plants and trees within 500 ft of where you live), and how Tippe and his wife aim to inspire the youth and adults-- with all of their classes-- as well as guide their clients away from a life of "treating" disease, but rather, heal.
A lot of gravy and a lot of critical information that you are not going to want to miss.
