What an honor it was to have my good friend, Brett Pike, on the show. We talk about his recent release of his new children's book "Free Speech, Social Media Censorship, & the First Amendment." Brett explains how the book was inspired by famous comedian, Owen Benjamin, and his dance with the beast, standing up for children, being de-platformed, exiled and ridiculed by the mainstream outlets. The take away message though is standing up for truth, speaking up for what's right, even if it means "losing" everything. Brett and I go on to discuss the importance of community, failure in our lives, learning from our mistakes, God, family, teaching the youth how to be critical thinkers, and much more.
